Rental Terms & Conditions
Welcome to GearVault Rentals. By accessing our website or renting equipment from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all rentals, bookings, and use of our services.
All renters must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid, government-issued photo ID prior to receiving any equipment. GearVault Rentals reserves the right to deny service at its discretion if verification requirements are not met or if a rental is deemed high-risk.
All rental bookings are confirmed only after full payment has been received. Rental periods are calculated based on the agreed pickup and return times. The renter is responsible for returning all equipment on time; late returns may result in additional charges based on the daily rental rate or a prorated fee.
A refundable security deposit is required for every rental. The deposit is held to cover potential damage, loss, theft, missing accessories, or late returns. Deposits are refunded after the equipment has been returned, inspected, and approved. Refund timing may vary depending on the payment method used.
All equipment is provided for local pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing. Renters are responsible for returning the equipment in the same condition in which it was received, including all accessories, batteries, cables, and media. The renter assumes full responsibility for the equipment for the entire rental period.
In the event of damage, loss, or theft, the renter must notify GearVault Rentals immediately. Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the security deposit. If such costs exceed the deposit amount, the renter agrees to pay the remaining balance in full.
Rented equipment must be used responsibly and only for its intended purpose. Sub-renting, loaning, or transferring equipment to another individual or business is strictly prohibited. Equipment may not be used for illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized activities.
Cancellations must be made prior to the scheduled pickup/delivery date. Same-day cancellations may result in partial or no refund. No refunds will be issued once the equipment has been picked up.
GearVault Rentals is not liable for personal injury, property damage, data loss, or other damages resulting from the use or misuse of rented equipment. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GearVault Rentals from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising during the rental period.
All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of GearVault Rentals and may not be copied or used without permission. GearVault Rentals reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
